Ellie Locatis is a game designer, passionate about providing positive and meaningful experiences to players with each game she develops.
She has experience designing, implementing, and balancing game systems.
Ellie is expected to graduate from Michigan State University in May 2020 with a BS in Computer Science, BA in Media and Information, and a Minor in Game Design and Development. She has developed a variety of games for work in the Games for Entertainment and Learning Lab (GEL) at MSU, in her classes, and in her spare time. She worked at Iron Galaxy Studios in Summer 2019 where she learned a great deal about AAA game development.
For each game she works on, Ellie is heavily involved in systems and gameplay design, from concepting to implementing to writing documentation. All of this is done with the goal of creating a well-formed, meaningful experience for players.
